Trick or Treat Smell My Feet

Mike and I were able to get off early so Jack could go trick or treating to family and friends.
By the time we were all ready to go, Jack was getting tired. So we only went to a couple of YiaYia's neighbors and headed home.

*Surprise 30th*

Happy Birthday to ME!!

For my Golden 30th Birthday Mike, Jacqui, Anni, and Chrissi all planned a surprise party for me...which was a complete surprise!!!

It all started with my best friend Anni wanting to come to Naperville from Wisconsin for a birthday dinner since she was going to be in town....by the way her husband was running a half marathon the day of the surprise...yeah right you were going to be in town...that should have been my first clue!!

Here's a pic of my best girls!! Anni, Tracey, and Tara...the 2nd clue should have been when Anni told me the night of the surprise that Tracey was in town (She is also from Wisconsin!) But nooo I still didn't catch on!

Thanks to my sister she TOLD Mike that he was going to throw me a surprise party!

Oh yeah...and the 3rd clue...I wanted to change Jack into a cutier outfit to go to his Aunt Chrissi's (She was going to babysit while we went to dinner) and Mike started wiggin' out on me saying...He's just going to my sisters you don't need to change him Why are you changing him?!?!?....Since when does Mike care what Jack is wearing...never but I didn't think anything of it and let it go...I should have changed him! ;)

Getting Ready for Bed

After the bath we decided to come show Dad what a big boy Jack is with brushing his teeth and styling his hair!

His hair is soo curly just like his Daddy. Jack loves to brush his teeth which is good because he's got 12 teeth now!!

FunNight with Daniel

Daniel was over for the night while his mom and dad went out to dinner with friends. They had a fun filled night of transforming their pumpkins into Yoda and a Mr. Potato Head Pirate. These two are too cute together...unfortunately this is the only decent pic and I didn't get a pic of the finished product! Use your imagination!

Pumpkin Farm

It was a beautiful fall Sunday with nothing else to do but to enjoy the nice weather and pick out a pumpkin! So off to the pumpkin farm we went!! We drove all the way to Crest Hill, IL to Siegal's Cottonwood Farm.

Jack loves slides...he was catching air at times!

There was this stationery train that kids could play on and Daddy wanted to join in on the fun!

Daddy showing Jack the baby chicks that were just born on Sept 25th...there was also a petting zoo with goats, baby goats, horses, and pigs which I missed a photo opp for :( Jack wasn't a huge fan of the live animals anyway!

If you look closely it says "Jack's Giant Slide" unfortunately Jack was too small to go down. Maybe next year!

Jack was lovin' the train ride on a real train track...he rode it like a big boy!

In this pic it looks like he's not enjoying it but he really did like the ride...I think he just wanted Dad to go on the ride too!

Then there was the pony ride...we had to do it...his Aunt Jacqui has horses and this kid cannot be afraid of horses!! It started off a little rocky but than once the pony got moving he kinda warmed up to the ideaYeehaw!
