Fall Fun

Looks like I've been slacking at this blogging thing! Crazy busy summer looking forward to some fall activities. Grandma Mimi took Jack and I to Kuipers Farm which was a blast! So much to do there. Jack was in heaven! He loved the "jumping pillow", pony ride, and his favorite feeding all the animals! He chased them around giggling and quacking away! My favorite was the apple cider slushies!

AHOY MATEY! CAPTAIN JACK IS 2

 The Jackman is 2 years old and I can't believe it!  As you can see we had a Pirate Party for my little Captain!

 It was a beautiful day and HOT!  Here's Cody playing with the Pirate(of course!)water table.

 Time for Walk the Plank...this was hilarious!

 The minute the boys would get on the plank they wanted to jump in the water...so a little assistants was needed to help get them across.

 Now it was time for the "water" slide thanks to Yia Yia and Poppy...this was a hit!! The boys LOVED it and not one meltdown!

 Everyone was singing Jack Happy Birthday and he thought that was kind of funny with everyone starring at him!

 Jack enjoyed his cake very much this year...last year not soo much! 

 Aunt Chrissi and Uncle Dan got Jack his very own BUZZ LIGHTYEAR!!  Jack's face was priceless, he was in aww and gave BUZZ a kiss!!  And below is Jack's new truck from G-ma Mimi and Big G-pa, this was at the beginning of the party.  Thanks again to everyone that was able to celebrate Captain Jack's 2nd Birthday and we hope you had a great time!!

St Patty's Day

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Here's Jack with his buddy Cody...isn't he just the cutest! Jack and Cody were enjoying some water table fun and running around like crazy little boys do!

Drink Break!

So Cody has his very own "ManCave" in his basement and the coolest mini leather recliners...3 of them in fact!! So lets just Jack was in heaven especially when we put on Toy Story so they would settle down...

Zoned in...movie worked!...Not for long they got their second wind and were running everywhere...I had funny pictures but they were moving so fast pics turned out blurry...the funniest one was Cody taking Jack down!

Jack in Action

Jack and Daniel have been going to a toddler class every Friday through the Naperville Park District. The class is 45 minutes and all they do is play around and have circle time in the beginning and at the end. During circle time we sing songs, read a book, or play with the parachute.

Jack's favorite thing was the slide and the phone.

Jack enjoyed the class...I think...lets just say he had his own adjenda. He wasn't a fan of circle time...it was taking away his time to play with all the cool toys.

Jack actually waited in line for the slide...which was surprising...but if it was Daniel I'm sure he tried to nudge him out of the way.

February and 50 degrees!!!

Jack, Lola, and I decided to enjoy some of the 50 degree weather we have been having in FEBRUARY!!!

I was finally able to get some shots of him smiling. He was lovin' being outside and playing with Lola.

Gettin' Big

Eating cheetos looking so big in his track suit! Can't believe Jack is going to be 21 months old in a few days! He is a crazy man these days. He climbs up onto everything and recently has climbed out of his crib. At his 19 month check up Jack weighed in at 30lbs and about 34in tall!! He loves to babble all the time...pretty stubborn with the talking thing. I'll ask him if he can say Bella or any word for that matter and he flat out says "NO". Still loves his thumb and blanket. And its been soo fun to watch him really fall in love with his dog, Lola. And Lola is such a good sport especially when he tries to ride her like a horse.
