Passed out!

Proud Daddy hanging out with his two favorites!

I had to post these pictures of him passed out in his playyard...he has never done this!!! Jack only likes to fall asleep in your arms! He will usually freak out and then make you hold him to go to sleep. He fights sleep soo bad! Not this time...Nice work Jack!

The benefits of having a thumb sucker, when the pacifier falls out Jacks got back up!

*3 Months Old*

3 months old today!!!
As you can see Jack is holding up his head like a pro. He smiles and laughs all the time! He loves laying in his "playyard" and grabs and kicks the hanging toys.

Such a Ham!

A little drool...shocking that he didn't puke!

Jack also is soo close to rolling over! He rolls to his side and is almost there but then gets lazy! He is always chewing on his hands and thumb...sometimes he tries to get both thumbs in his mouth or his whole fist!

After I was done working this morning at the doctors office I had Mike bring him in to see how much of a chub he was...14 pounds 3 ounces and 24 inches long!! Gettin' big fast!

Game Night

Last Friday night Mike, Jack, and I went over to our very good friends house Jeremy and Heather Busch for game night and also to see their new addition Cody Jay! And boy oh boy is he a cutie!!!

Here's the happy family!

This is another good friend of ours Cheryl who is getting married in a few short weeks to Mike's fellow NIU baseball buddy Nat. I always seem to hand Jack off for feedings, but they don't mind!

I was kinda picture happy that night...the wine was making me loopy, it had been awhile!

Trading babies...its so amazing how different 2 months makes!

Here's the cutie pie Mr. Cody Jay Busch

Jack gettin' some quality time with Dad.

Game night was soo fun but why is it that the guys always seem to win and then the girls have to start cheating? Catch pharse always a good one!

Late night comes to an end!! The boys were sooo good they slept most of the night!

Ugh, what a rough night partying it up! Many more of those night to come Jack soo get use to it now!!

Back to School Shopping

I can't believe the summer is almost over!! Jack and I went school shopping with the Finch girls...needless to say Jack is like his papa and is not a big fan of shopping as you can see in the picture below.
No more shopping!!!

Pool and Auntie Bella

Jack lovin' the water...we just got him this turtle floatie, he's still a little too small for it but it works and he seemed to enjoy it.

Our cute family picture

Well I must say that Miss Bella needs an upgrade in family status. She is no longer cousin Bella she is Auntie Bella. She is glued to Jack whenever we come to DeKalb! She feeds him, changes him and even helped me give him a bath after a long day of sun and water! She is soo funny with him, she a pro!

Oh and did I mention she has a magic touch! She is soo proud of it too! After his bath he was lights out going to town on his thumb!

BBQ at Uncle Waldrons

Jack had his first BBQ at Uncle Waldron's house. For the first few hours Mike and Jack were on their own because I was at work. Mike did soo great he was even able to make a couple of dishes for the bbq and take care of Jack!!
We also found a new babysitter Lauren (above) Jack LOVED her!! He also enjoyed her feeding him in front of the TV.
Below is a pic of Uncle Waldron and Jack hanging out spending some quality time!

Sleeping through the Night!!

So right when Jack hit 2 months old he decided he was ready to sleep through the night!! The first night it happened I just figured it was a one time thing but the little guy has continued to sleep through the night for the last 3 weeks! Which is nice because I go back to work very soon:(
The picture above is Jack in his newborn lounger...he's getting too big for it!!

Jack is not a fan of sleeping in the basinet so he sleeps in his swing at night but during the day we are trying to get him to sleep in his crib...its tough for him because he isn't use to sleeping totally flat. We'll get there slowly!
