Hanging with Daniel

Chrissi and Dan had us over to take pictures of the boys in their matching outfits. Jack was not a big fan of this idea at first.

Daniel wasn't to happy about it either...the two of them were freakin' out at one point...but then they calmed down and Dan and Mike were able to get some great pictures of these cuties.

This is our favorite of the 100 pictures we took...yes...Dan took 90 and Mike took a bunch too!! But don't they look precious?!! At one point they were arm and arm together!

2 Month Check Up and SHOTS...with a little bath time mixed in!!

Jack had his 2 month check up and everything looks good. Jack's eating plenty with a little spit up on the side...no a lot of spit up!!! Dr. Talwar was able to see that first hand at his appointment...twice!! Jack weighs 12 pounds 8 ounces and 23 inches long. Jack is smiling all the time now its soo fun and can't wait til his first real giggle. Jack is also batting at hanging toys and really wants to grab it...soon I'm sure!

So this was Round 1 of shots...Heidi on the right(the BOSS lady)and Nadene on the left(fellow nurse) were the lucky ones that gave Jack his shots!! They were very gentle!! Thanks Ladies!!



and Round 2...Jack did sooo great he even surprised me!! I thought that he would freak out but he only fussed while they gave the shots and he was fine. Hopefully it always goes that smooth!!

This was after a long day at the doctors and then we went to lunch and walked around Oakbrook Mall with Auntie Tara! And my oh my did me and Auntie Tara have FUN!!! Soo nice to catch up!!;)

Jack loves his baths...he likes the water obviously warm and then pour warm water all over him. Oh and the best tip anyone ever gave me, the warm wash cloth over the belly! So key to a Happy Jack!

After the bath I propped this guy up in his new chair! I love this picture!!

*2 Months Old*

Well Jack is 2 months old today and my how the time has zipped on by!

Jack has been smiling regularly but still waiting for him to giggle. He giggled once in his sleep when he was like 2 weeks old but that doesn't count cuz he didn't know what was going on yet!

Oh and he has discovered his hands and loves to put 'em in his mouth. He randomly sucks his thumb and I think its the cutest thing ever but Mike not a big fan!



He's growing soo fast. He still is eating about every 2-3 hours. On a lucky night he might go for 6-7 hours but thats very random. Hopefully by 3-4 months we can get this guy sleeping through the night...well that's my goal!

MuscleMan and some Tummy Time

Play Date

Bella stayed 4 days with us and was in heaven! She was such a big helper, feeding, changing diapers even poopy ones, and just keeping him content! I think Bella has a magic touch because there were times where he wouldn't stop crying for me and she would take him and he would stop right away! Well the pic above is Jack in Bella's favorite outfit...just a diaper!
So Chrissi and Thea arranged a playdate with all the new cousins and for some of the Aunts to meet all these babies. Little Thea, Jami, AJ (2 years), Baby Logan(around 2 weeks), Aunt Robin, Baby Christopher(6months), Baby Daniel in the bouncy seat (1 month) and Jack in the swing (almost 2months) were all able to come hang out in Chrissi's family room.

And last but not least "Big D" (Daniel) passed out from all the crazy fun. Buddy being the protector of Daniel!! Buddy is the best dog ever...he is soo mellow!

Cubs Game

Mike and I were invited to go to the Cubs game with Anni and Randy on July 3 and we had a blast! The Cubs finally won a game!

It was our first night out without Jack. He stayed with Grandma Mimi and she had plenty of help. Lauren and Bella stayed with her and helped out.

We had a great time! Thanks again Anni for inviting us!! They were awesome seats!!

Miller Baby Shower

Recently went to my BFF Tracey's Baby Shower. The shower was at Rosita's patio on a beautiful Friday Night!
